Welia Health will officially break ground on its Pine City campus expansion on Thursday, May 15, 2025, marking the beginning of a major project designed to improve access, expand services, and enhance patient and staff experiences.
The expansion is a direct response to increased demand for healthcare services and reflects Welia Health’s commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The updated facility will support clinical growth, improve flow and accessibility, and align with the modern design seen at the recently expanded Mora campus.
Expansion Highlights
- Expanded Rehabilitation Services, including outdoor therapy space
- Interior pharmacy entry to improve visibility and wayfinding
- Expanded urgent care waiting area to better accommodate patient needs
- Expanded lab and renovated imaging to support efficient diagnostics
- Increased clinical capacity, with ten additional exam rooms, a family exam room, and one more procedure room
- Outdoor staff space to promote well-being
- Expanded parking for improved access and flow
- Redesigned floorplan to enhance safety and care delivery

- Building and site construction – Spring 2025 through Summer 2026

Throughout construction, all services at Welia Health’s Pine City location will remain open and operational. The expansion is designed to ensure minimal disruption while setting the stage for long-term improvements.
