Welia Health Volunteer – Gift Shop Scholarship

The Welia Health Volunteer Group offers the Welia Health Volunteer – Gift Shop Scholarship to support individuals pursuing or continuing education in a healthcare-related field.

This one-time $1,000 scholarship, awarded annually, is funded through proceeds from sales at the Welia Health Gift Shop. It reflects the generosity of patients, visitors, and community members who support local healthcare education.

Scholarship at a Glance

• Award amount: One-time award of $1,000
• Who can apply: Individuals 18+ and at least three years post-high school
• Field of study: Healthcare or medical sciences

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Be at least three years post–high school
• Be pursuing educational goals in a healthcare or medical sciences field
• Be enrolled, at least part-time, in healthcare-related courses at an accredited school
• Be a United States citizen
• Reside in Kanabec or Pine County

Award Details

• Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by a Welia Health representative.
• Scholarship funds are paid directly to the college or university after successful completion of the student’s first semester.
