Virtual care visits

Getting care from your Welia Health provider doesn’t always mean coming in. Virtual care visits let you connect face-to-face from home, your office, or wherever you happen to be — as long as you have an internet connection.

Most Welia Health providers offer virtual visits. However, please note that not all appointments are available virtually.

Schedule a virtual visit

Scheduling a virtual care visit is easy. Call us or submit an online appointment request and our team will get you set up. Just keep in mind that virtual visits cannot be scheduled through MyChart at this time — but we’re happy to help you get scheduled another way.

Prepare for your virtual visit

All you need for your virtual visit is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, and a reliable Internet connection.

Run a pre-visit tech check

Be sure your device is ready for your virtual visit. Use our Tech Check Bot to confirm everything is working before your appointment.


Join your scheduled visit

Already have a virtual visit scheduled? Log in to MyChart to join your virtual visit.


Tips for a successful virtual visit

Internet Connection
  • Wi-Fi works better than cellular connections.
  • Some public Wi-Fi networks may be restricted and not work as well as full Wi-Fi.
  • Make sure you are not streaming audio or video, such as Spotify or YouTube.
Audio
  • Check that your device is not muted and your volume is turned up.
  • Try to use headphones with a microphone—this allows your provider to hear you more clearly and offers you more privacy.
Video
  • Try to stabilize your mobile device.
  • Make sure you are in a quiet, well-lit area.
