Welia Health is committed to providing quality, safe and effective patient care. Our team members greatly value the adoption of best practices in creating a positive safety culture.
Welia is a fully accredited health care facility by the Joint Commission. To view our Quality Report visit Quality Check. The Quality Report includes the accreditation decision, a listing of accredited sites and services, special quality awards, and level of compliance with the National Patient Safety Goals.
In addition to Quality Check, these resources also help assess quality:
- MNHealth Scores provides unbiased, trustworthy information on the quality of medical clinics, the experiences you can expect to have as a patient and the general cost you’ll have to pay within the state of Minnesota. More information can be found at Minnesota Health Scores.
- Medicare offers a hospital comparison tool. See Medicare Hospital Compare for more information.
At Welia Health, our Chief Quality Officer leads our organization’s quality processes and initiatives. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your care or the care of another individual, we want to know. Please email QualityOfficer@WeliaHealth.org.
If you feel the services provided at Welia Health have in any way compromised patient safety or not met accepted quality of care standards, please contact Ellen. If you do not feel that we adequately addressed your concerns, we invite you to report any patient safety concerns directly to The Joint Commission.
