Accountable Care Organization (ACO) notice mailed to Medicare patients

March 14, 2023

Over the next few weeks, Medicare patients will receive a notice designating Welia Health as an Accountable Care Organization (PDF). This notice is for informational purposes only, and there is nothing you need to do in response.

Welia Health is participating in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). An ACO is a group of doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare providers working together to ensure you get the best care to support and improve the health of our communities.

Coordinated care can save time, money, and frustration while ensuring you get the proper care at the right time and avoid repeating the same services unnecessarily. Medicare requires healthcare providers to notify their patients of their participation in an ACO.

Our participation in an ACO does not limit your choice of healthcare providers. Your Medicare benefits will not change. You can visit any doctor, hospital, or provider that accepts Medicare anytime, just like you do now. We appreciate your trust in us and look forward to supporting your healthcare needs.

Please reach out to your provider or nurse team with questions by sending a message via MyChart or by calling 320.679.1212 and leaving a message.
