Welia Health sends Accountable Care Organization letters

February 14, 2022  /   Press Releases  /   1-minute read

Over the past couple of weeks, Welia Health mailed a notice to all Medicare patients in its database. This notice is for informational purposes only. There is nothing you need to do in response.

Welia Health is participating in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). An ACO is a group of doctors, hospitals, and/or other healthcare providers that work together to better meet your needs. Coordinated care helps to ensure that you get the right care at the right time and avoid getting the same services repeated unnecessarily. We are required to notify you of our participation in the ACO. Please see the ACO notice of participation.

Our participation in an ACO does not limit your choice of healthcare providers. Your Medicare benefits will not change. You have the right to visit any doctor, hospital, or another provider that accepts Medicare at any time, just like you do now.

We appreciate the trust you put in us and look forward to taking care of your healthcare needs.

Please contact us at 320.679.1313 if you have any questions.
