Everyone is invited to celebrate the new name and the Mora campus expansion
Call it the Welia-bration, Welia Health is celebrating its new facilities and brand new name (formerly FirstLight Health System) with a community event on September 24, 2019 in Mora, MN from 5pm-7pm.
Here are a few highlights:
- Ribbon cutting ceremony at 5pm.
- T-shirt giveaway to first 1,000 guests.
- Snacks and refreshments.
- Details about the new name.
- Fun facts about the construction.
- Enjoy the party with your neighbors and Welia Health staff.
“It’s important to pause, cut some cake and recognize all the hard work it took of so many people to get to this place,” says Randy Ulseth, CEO of Welia Health. “For an organization that never stops, a pause at a moment like this is really special. We have an incredible team doing incredible things. Our new facility will allow us to do it even better, and our new name allows us to better tell that story.”
For the last 2 years, the organization now known as Welia Health has been moving entryways, re-routing patients, and shuffling exam rooms to continue to provide exceptional care during a complete renovation of its Mora campus. On top of it all, the team made the decision to change its name, with a process that needed to dovetail in timing with the end of construction.
All elements now complete, the community is invited to come take a look at the new Welia Health and enjoy the celebration.
“We have changed,” says Ulseth, “but we won’t change. We will continue to offer the welcoming, forward-looking, patient-centered care that we’re known for. We just plan to keep doing it better.”
