You and your baby

After your pregnancy and labor and childbirth are behind you, (and the hospital paperwork is complete) it’s time to celebrate your new arrival and welcome your baby home. Know that your Welia Health team is here to help.

Having a newborn baby at home is often exhausting. It’s important to take care of yourself as you’re caring for your baby (see postpartum recovery). To make it easier for you, we’ve collected information and resources for you on newborn appearances and screenings, safe sleep, breastfeeding, immunizations, birth control, well-child visits, car seat safety, and the importance of reading to your baby. We also have some tips for being at home with your baby, from handling a diaper rash to dressing your baby.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your provider. We’re here for you and your family.
