When You Need an ER, Please Go to the ER (Yes, Even in a Pandemic)

Red Emergency Department Sign

We have asked you to stay home, practice social distancing, and call before coming to the hospital or clinic. You’ve listened and we thank you.

Some patients, we worry, have delayed seeking care based on concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. However, for those who may be experiencing a heart attack, stroke or any other emergency, prompt medical attention is absolutely critical. Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 immediately.

It is important for the communities we serve to know that Welia Health has implemented new triage protocols, intensified cleaning procedures, and equipped both staff and patients with proper PPE. In addition, we screen all patients upon entry, require masking in our facilities, and strictly limit visitors. These measures are in place to keep you safe!

The fact is, most people who may get the novel Coronavirus will recover at home with little to no hospital care, but for others who need essential medical attention, we are prepared to provide the care you need, when you need it.

Remember, don’t wait, if you are experiencing an emergency, seek care immediately or call 9-1-1.

We’re here. We’re ready. We’re in this together!
