Elective Surgeries to be Postponed

Governor Tim Walz today signed an executive order ordering health care providers to postpone elective surgeries and procedures to focus healthcare capacity and equipment on responding to COVID-19 cases and other emergencies.

What does this mean for Welia Health patients?

All non-essential or elective surgeries and procedures, including non-emergent or elective dental care are postponed beginning at 5pm on Monday, March 23, 2020 (per the executive order).
