Pfizer vaccine approved for children ages 12-15

Welia Health is now offering the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to all individuals 12 years of age and older.

The FDA announced expanded emergency use authorization for the Pfizer vaccine to include adolescents ages 1215 on May 10, 2021. 

Consent for the COVID-19 vaccination is required for all minor patients (under 18 years of age). The parent/guardian is advised to review the Pfizer Fact Sheet before signing the consent form.
