Thank you for choosing Welia Health for your care. We aspire to be your partner in your medical journey, guiding you through every step, including billing and payment. We’re here to answer all of your questions regarding the financial aspects surrounding your care and treatment.
Our patient billing processes
We aim to process your bill correctly and in a timely manner. To expedite this, please bring your insurance card, identification (driver’s license, Minnesota identification card, student ID, passport, etc.) and any authorizations your health plan may require when you check in and register.
When our providers complete your visit, our staff will file the claim(s) with your health insurance company or other programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. This is why we need you to collect the required information and any other details necessary for coverage or assistance when checking in. The insurance company or program then pays Welia Health and after payment is received, a statement is sent to you with any remaining balance.
Our insurance billing specialists can help you answer any billing questions. Please note that payment is due in full upon receipt of your statement unless you make payment arrangements.
You may also receive separate bills for other physician services, such as a radiology reading or from a specialty physician consultation. These charges are not billed by our facility so if you have questions please contact that provider listed on that billing statement.

Welia Health accepts many major health insurance plans. Please contact your health insurance company to see if we are considered in-network.
If you are unable to pay your balance in full, please contact a patient account representative immediately at 320.225.3340 to set up payment arrangements.
We offer financial aid to both insured and uninsured patients who meet the criteria outlined in our financial assistance policy. If you’re interested in applying for financial aid, please pick up an application in the business office or call us at 320.225.3340 to have one mailed to you. Please note that we require proof of income to determine whether or not you qualify for financial assistance. The entire amount or a portion of it may qualify for write-off.
To be considered for financial assistance through the WeliaCare program, please review and complete these forms. Once completed, please print, sign, scan and email to billingoffice@WeliaHealth.org, or drop signed copies off at the business office on the Mora campus.
Welia Health provides a discount for medically necessary services to any patient without health insurance.

Full charge master data file
In accordance with CMS-1717-F2 federal law, all hospitals are required to post publicly all standard charges which include: gross charges, payer-specific negotiated charges, de-identified minimum and maximum negotiated charges and discounted cash prices.

Clinic charges over $25
Effective July 1, 2019, a new law enacted by the Minnesota Legislature went into effect requiring all primary care clinics to post their top 25 procedures costing over $25.
