DESCRIPTION:Navigating the complexities of Parkinson’s disease can feel overwhelming—for individuals and for those who care about them. The Parkinson’s Support Group offers a welcoming\, supportive space for people living with Parkinson’s and their loved ones to connect\, learn\, and find encouragement. \nLed by a team of certified physical\, occupational\, and speech therapists trained in Parkinson’s-specific therapies (LSVT BIG® and LSVT LOUD®)\, the group provides trusted education and practical strategies to support daily life. \nParticipants can explore treatment approaches\, learn exercise and communication techniques\, ask questions\, and connect with others who truly understand the journey. \nAs a service to our community\, Welia Health support groups are free and open to all. \nHave questions or want to learn more?\nCall Welia Health Rehabilitation Services at 320.225.3356. \nThe Parkinson’s Support Group meets quarterly on the third Thursday of January\, April\, July\, and October from 3:00–4:00 PM at Welia Health’s Mora campus.
