DESCRIPTION:Adjusting to vision loss can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. The Low Vision Support Group offers a welcoming\, supportive environment for individuals experiencing vision loss\, as well as their family members and caregivers. This group provides a space to connect with others who understand\, share experiences and coping strategies\, and learn about helpful resources and tools that support independence in daily life. \nWelia Health is proud to support this group\, which is sponsored and led by State Services for the Blind\, part of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. \nThe Low Vision Support Group is free and open to all. \nHave questions\, need more information\, or wondering about weather-related cancellations?\nCall Stacy Shamblott\, CTRS\, Aging Eyes Program Coordinator\, at 651.249.5118. \nThe Low Vision Support Group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month from 2:00–3:30 PM at the Mora United Methodist Church.\nPlease note: In November and December\, meetings will be held on the third Thursday to avoid holiday conflicts.
