DESCRIPTION:Caring for a loved one with a chronic illness can be both meaningful and overwhelming. Welia Health’s Caregivers Support Group offers a welcoming\, confidential space for caregivers of individuals living with dementia\, Alzheimer’s disease\, cancer\, heart disease\, or other chronic health conditions. \nParticipants can share experiences\, learn practical coping strategies\, and connect with others who understand the challenges of caregiving. \nAs a service to our community\, Welia Health support groups are free of charge\, and all caregivers are welcome. \nQuestions or interested in learning more? DESCRIPTION:Presented by the American Heart Association\nThis course is designed for employee training for companies\, corporations\, businesses\, and other organizations. \nYou will learn about:\n\nAdult\, child\, and infant choking response\nCPR with and without a mask\nUse of an automated external defibrillator (AED)\nAdult First Aid principles\, including:\n\nGeneral first aid fundamentals\nMedical emergencies\nInjury emergencies\nEnvironmental emergencies\n\n\n\nCertification\nUpon successful completion\, participants will receive a Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card from the American Heart Association\, valid for two years. \nCost\n$85 (payable the day of class by cash\, personal check\, or business check) \nRegistration\nRegistration is required.
