Vaccine Update
To better serve our communities and administer COVID-19 vaccinations to our patients with greater efficiency and less frustration, Welia Health has modified its approach.
Beginning Wednesday, February 3, Welia Health staff will proactively contact patients eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, in random order, to schedule vaccination appointments.
Patients 65+ who have been seen by a Welia Health provider within the last three years, including patients 65+ considered at the highest risk for complications from the COVID-19 virus, have been prioritized and will be contacted first.
For the latest information on curbside testing, vaccinations and any changes to clinic and hospital policies due to COVID-19, continue to check for updates on this page, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
Three important things to know:
- If you receive a call but miss it, Welia Health will not leave a message. We kindly ask you not call back as we will need to keep phone lines available for other patients seeking care. Rest assured, we will call you back.
- Be sure the contact information in your medical record is accurate.
- Once the Minnesota Department of Health can provide greater predictability in vaccine distribution and shipments, Welia Health will schedule additional community clinics.
Thank you for your patience.
