Pine City Clinic remains open: What to expect during Phase 2 construction

Construction is one sign of growth at the Welia Health Pine City Clinic, but it can also raise questions about appointments, entrances and available services. The good news is that while the clinic continues its expansion project, every clinical service remains fully operational.

Welia Health has carefully planned every phase of construction to ensure patients continue receiving the care they need. As Garrett Estenson, Welia Health’s Co-Project Leader of the Pine City Clinic expansion, explains, “Through this construction project, we have maintained all of our services within the building. What that means is we have not had to pause or discontinue any services. We’ve continued operations.”

Whether you’re visiting your primary care provider, picking up a prescription, attending a rehabilitation appointment or seeking immediate care through Urgent Care, you can continue to visit the Pine City Clinic with confidence.

What is happening during Phase 2?

The Pine City Clinic is currently in Phase 2 of its expansion project. During this phase, construction crews are focused on remodeling and modernizing the interior spaces where the new addition connects to the original building.

“Crews are working inside the building to remodel and modernize the ‘middle spaces’ where the brand-new spaces tie into the original facility,” said Estenson.

These connecting areas will be temporarily closed, allowing construction teams to safely complete this portion of the project while patients continue using the rest of the clinic.

Keeping the clinic running smoothly

Behind the scenes, Welia Health has assembled a dedicated team to ensure the clinic continues operating efficiently throughout construction. Estenson is part of a leadership group that meets regularly to coordinate between daily clinic operations and ongoing construction activities.

“We have a small group of leaders coordinating between operations and construction—helping us solve problems and answer the big question: how do we keep this clinic open and the patient experience excellent while under construction?” he explained.

This ongoing collaboration helps minimize disruptions, quickly address challenges and ensure patients continue receiving the high level of care they expect from Welia Health.

Visiting Urgent Care? Your entrance hasn’t changed

If you need immediate medical care, you can continue to visit Pine City Urgent Care just as you always have. Urgent Care has its own dedicated entrance, completely unaffected by the renovation work.

The workflow inside Urgent Care remains exactly the same, making it easy for you to receive timely treatment when you need it most.

Urgent Care continues to serve you during its regular hours:

• Monday through Friday: 7am–7pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 9am– 7pm
